Note that for a closing Attorney, there is just as much work involved in a refinance (and sometimes more) than is involved in a purchase transaction. There is no such thing as "just a refinance" from our perspective. The only difference is that we are not reviewing Offers nor Purchase and Sale Agreements.

Note also that if you like your current mortgage holder but are simply seeking a lower interest rate, you may want to call that Lender to discuss the possibility of lowering your rate. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Also, if you are an existing client of Mary Eaton Law and we have already certified title to you on the property securing the loan which you wish to refinance, we will discount your cost for the title examination if the certification was done in the past ten years.
